Northview's Sonshine School has operated for over 28 years. We are a state-licensed facility providing a complete program for your child's social, educational, and spiritual growth.

Our Program Objectives
The Sonshine School provides care for children away from their parents, giving primary attention to safety, education, and environment.
We share Christian beliefs and other cultural values through stories, songs, prayers, and principles of play and social contact. The atmosphere and objectives of the school are Christian in nature. Bible stories and songs are taught.

Our Organization
We operate on a non-profit basis and are a ministry of Northview Christian Church. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, national origin, or handicap. We will not, however, maintain any child whose physical or emotional needs we obviously cannot meet, or whose behavior would be detrimental or dangerous for the other children.

Our Playgrounds
We know play is important to a child's physical development. The Sonshine School has worked hard to provide two beautiful, fenced-in, outdoor playgrounds. One is sized for 2 and 3 year olds, and the other for older children. In addition, a courtyard play area is available for the preschoolers. In inclement weather conditions, indoor play areas are utilized.
Classes are separated by age, enabling children to enjoy activities at their individual developmental stages.
